Paris (nicknamed the City of light) is the capital city of France, and the largest city there. Its area is 105 square km, and around 2,15 million people live there. If suburbs are counted, the population of the Paris area rises to 12 million people.

I was lucky enough to spend five days leading up to christmas here. I was able to visit

Tour EiffelOne of the most famous french monuments of all! Designed by Gustave Eiffel for the International Exhibition of Paris in 1889 to commemorate the centenary of the Revolution.

Arc de Triomphe;, the Arc de Triomphe is also one of the most recognisable and famous places in Paris.


Musée d’OrsayLocated in a former train station built in 1900, and opened as a museum in 1986.
